I am a mechanical engineer working at the intersection of energy infrastructure, data, and automation. My days are spent on Nepal's transmission network — reviewing designs, managing procurement, and getting hydropower onto the national grid. My evenings go to tools, essays, and the questions the day job leaves unanswered.

Before the grid, I taught. Thermodynamics, engineering drawing, mechanics of solids — three years of explaining first principles to rooms full of students, which remains the single best thing that ever happened to my own understanding.

I write because engineering rarely stays inside engineering. Energy policy is economics. Grid reliability is politics. Personal finance is just load forecasting for a household. The systems rhyme, and writing is how I keep track of the rhymes.
